I saw all the ads on TV from the owner and never did trust his smiling face. He looked like a ripoff artist talking about how his mother always told him to "be an honest man" and all that other **. Very poor quality service by the tech/plumber that was sent. He was here to just unclog our main drain line in the attic. Not sure if this was accomplished or not but he caused a leak while performing the repair. He asked my wife for 4 buckets of water. Why ?? He did not explain to her what they were for. He came down shortly there after and said we had a leak in the attic. I went up and looked at the spot where it was wet and it was within a foot of where he was working. John Moore's sales rep said whatever to make his commissions and he took advantage of us. We are retired and on a fixed income. We had a shower pan that leaked, and it leaked into the bedroom closet floor. He gave us a quote for 15k and the assumption (no itemized bill) that the quote included the closet floor and entire bathroom. Deceptive TV advertising by President Don V********* with many ads saying: If your kitchen sink won't drain, we'll clean it out for $49. That's right, for only $49 you'll get a clean-flowing sink. Beware - what he doesn't say is that is only if they can clean it out from outside drain. If it requires cleaning from inside sink drains, it's hugely more. I was quoted $299! They are not honest and send out people who are trying to trick customers into paying for repairs that are not needed. They quoted $6800 for repairs that ended up costing only $250 when I called another electrician. Don Valentine's commercial are misleading and dishonest in his free estimate claims as they charge $319 after 20 minutes. And guess what? All calls last more than 20 minutes.
Bad, Said our water heater was leaking, Needing replacement for thousands of dollars, when all it was, was a leaking supply line.
This company rip me off for $599. dollars. I want my money back. I was told he would come out and find my AC problem they said nothing about $599 when i called the office. After the tech finished he asked me for 599. WHAT the Heck. People be ware you know what time of year this is.
False Advertising. Stay away from these people! Owner Don Valentine goes on TV saying " we wont charge you for a free honest estimate"! Unless you mention that you had a home warranty THEN the free estimate is $69! I explained to Maria, who was extremely rude, that the warranty company wanted to do a patch fix, and I wanted an estimate to replace the entire unit out of pocket. Please beware of this company!!! My mom called John Moore because her Air Conditioner stop cooling on 8/3/2022. Guy showed up and called me and told me my mom A/C unit was done. Said motor was burnt out and it had a Freon leak. Said needed a new unit at $14,000. I remind you my mom is in her 70's , I told him I would get some quotes before moving forward even though he insisted on getting it done.
