I wish I'd never heard Don *********tv advertisement of being honest. I had a clog in my kitchen sink, called John moore and they sent out a technician. He told me I had a broken pipe under my house and it needed to be fixed immediately or I was going to encounter more problems. So like an idiot I said ok even though I had to finance the repair work of $13500. I had a clogged drain...and John Moore was running a $69 sale on fixing kitchen drains. The plumber came out. Said we had a grease block that he could not clear with a snake. It would need to be flushed out with a water jet...and quoted a cost of $800 plus. I declined and asked him to run the snake as far as he could. I did not stay with him. When he left, the drain was just as clogged as when he came. That afternoon a plumber from Weeks Service came out. Said the grease block was only 5 foot down the line, cleared it easily... read more

Margaret S. On 10/7/2023 I had a new ac installed and on the wall in the garage they discovered I had a leak that had been there for sometime. Long story short call JM. Tech came out tried to sell me his personal company that is a mold and restoration service. Said they would claim it on my insurance. I said no several times. He said well what do you want me to do today. I said cut the Sheetrock and find the leak. He said that will cost you 299 service charge. So he did. Immediately said he sees the problem. The work done was very poor, toilet moved too close to tub, ceiling lights put up but didn't clean up 1st opening, bathtub show sign of rust on front left corner was suppose to be new, bathtub was much too low much lower from what was removed, plus tub was slooped foward taking away space to sit in tub, cabinet on left lower wasn't even with cabinet on left side removal of mirrors that was on back and side wall paint job wasn't painted to my satisfaction. There was a time that I sword by John Moore for plumbing, AC, and Pest Control. However, over the past two years their customer service has gotten much worse. The trend started with a technician, Daniel ******, patronizing me with a very condescending attitude. To make things more interesting, he could not diagnose an issue and said it would take some exploration (lots of money) to determine the issue. In May 2023, John Moore did not fix initial plumbing problem which caused extensive damage to my home. Troy told me it was not a plumbing problem. He said it was the air conditioner. I ended up buying a new air conditioning unit for $20,000.00, which I now realize is way overpriced. Another review about John Moore to the ***indicated they had bought a unit for $12,000.00 one month prior to when I bought mine. Turns out our problem was not the unit. John moore plumbing estimate supervisor added 3000 dollars of service we did not ask for.his name is willie,now after the work done and 3 months later ,they are trying to collect on services that we not agreed on or done.these were estimates that we did not approve,they are scammers

John Moore Plumbing performed a faucet placement job. I provided a high-quality brand (Delta) faucet ($198) to be installed. The tech quoted one price of $154.XX The cut-off valves (2) and one other brass fitting (all 3 costing at the hardware store about $30-$36 identical parts) needed to be replaced, so I asked for a total price again, and the tech quoted me a price of $304. A tree, that has been a thorn in my side for 30+ years ( and created sewer problems before) came down a month ago and smashed the sewer line so like a fool I called John Moore sèrvices for their "free" estimate. After discussing the problem with their "expert" technician and he came up with 4 options ranging from $5600 to $11,500 .
