Install of new unit was done professionally and done with the upmost respect of our home. Placed a call 12-30-17 do to the unit not heating. Tech came out, looked over the system and determine one of the 24volt control wires was charged. Splices a new one together, and the heat started working again. Suggested we install surge protection on the inside unit and outside unit to prevent any surges from doing any damage to the air handler and outside unit, which we did. The technicians who come out to service the unit are very pleasant and conscientious, always striving to do a good job. The ladies in the office are sweet too and always helpful.
We called J and W to come take a look at our 2 year old system, which was having recurrent issues. This was the 4th issue on the system, another $1,000 repair. We had just paid our previous A/C company $1,100 two months prior to repair a similar issue. After cutting ties with the previous company, J and W came out on a Friday afternoon, located the problem, ordered the part, got us freon for the weekend, and showed up promptly on Monday morning to complete the repair with the part in hand. Our first major repair since the install (May of 2004). We called on 07/25/17 early that morning & was told That we cld expect our service call around 1 maybe sooner & was pleasantly surprised with an early arrival that included a complete diagnosis. We were then told the part wld be in the next day & install would immediately follow. I called with my A/C freezing up. They got me an appointment for the same day. Technician called when he was on his way and was knowledgeable and friendly. Great experience, will definitely be using J&W for any future needs!
