Drivers are extremely nice but they will basically go over the furniture with a fine tooth comb so don’t waste your time. I told them on the phone dining room set was from 1965. Would not take because of a couple of stains on chairs. Do they expect new furniture? I posted on the marketplace and others had no problem with it. I will never call them again
NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I DONATE TO ST. VINCENT de PAUL. All my life of donating to the needy, I have never in my life seen such an ungrateful establishment. They will not accept donations that have been used. I am sure there are people in need and would be more than happy to accept what I am donating. Actually hate this place, worked there once their all haters and look wobbly and awkward. A bunch of losers that think they are somones and has beens who worked at better stores but thought they could do better and woundt up there. Hate the donation receivers. They all suck big time. The store looks awful the merchandise is awful there nothing there no one donates there none even goes there. I stalk nasty drama and bring in riff raff. Hate then their like street people.
Went a year ago and found three beautiful furniture pieces for my upstate summer home. Full size leather couch, winged arm chair and tv cabinet I made into a sterio cabinet. Got all three for 318.00. Have been back a few times since and prices are through the roof. Items not even close to the quality I purchased last year listed 3, 4 times higher. Have walked in and out 4,5 times empty handed.
Bought a pair of shoes and they were the same price as bought new in the store. They would not lower price. It is a thrift store so u can buy second second hand stuff !!! Used !! Which should be at a discount. Much cheaper to buy furniture on Facebook market place!! Ridiculous prices .Just go to Marshall's and buy new clothing cheaper.
