I have been a patient/client at two separate programs that RNP provides. I am not positive if they have added anymore, but last I knew there were 23 under the RNP 'umbrella'. One was the out-patient drug-addiction services program called CHS. Located in the Lordship area of Stratford in a wonderful facility. Mainly a methadone out-patient clinic, CHS also provides suboxone, and a wide array of counseling and groups geared towards conquering your specific addiction(s). They offer more and excel in every one of them. CHS exceeded all my expectations and the vast majority of counselors sincerely cared about your recovery. Because of this I was able to completely turn my life around. The other was a 9-10 day Detox (I went for Benzodiazepines) by the name of First-Step. Also a superbly, almost flawless system for what it is geared for. The facility is small, however I never felt that it was overcrowded. The staff was good. At times a counselor would appear borderline overwhelmed, however if you have ever been associated to the Detox system it's not hard to understand and even feel sympathy. Either way, except for one short-lived event, the staff always seemed to stay professional and regain their composure almost immediately. They deal with ALOT of obstacles and are commonly verbally abused, occasionally physically abused, and almost always dealing with an adult or 2 (or 7) that act like children at best. Simply saying 'well that's their job' is not fair at all, considering they ARE humans, and in my opinion that would be a naïve statement. Most employees are very good at their jobs.
