Air Temp bought Hi Point, where we’d been customers for 20+ years. We were billed 3 hours ($600+!) to do routine AC maintenance and coil cleaning, when it used to take less than an hour. Outrageous. Didn’t bring any coil cleaner -- in August, for an AC maintenance call -- so they charged us to drive to Hartford and back to pick some up. Wouldn’t even give us the rest of the cleaner we’d paid for afterward. When asked about the hours, we were told that billing starts from the time they leave their HQ. Excellent service great prices. Shawn went out of his way to get a part that was nearly impossible to find for my central a/c unit! Had a few other companies out, they wanted to replace the whole unit. Great Job!!!

This is a great industrial and commercial company. Their service is fantastic and highly skilled. This is NOT AirTemp Residential Services and should not be confused with the company that works in people's houses.

When our furnace wouldnt turn on my husband called Air Temp to come and check it out, their fee to check the problem was $165 for the first hour.... ok, we have to get this fixed. The part needed was a Hot Surface Ignitor. They replaced the part with a generic part and charged $197.46 for the part. The total for the entire half hour visit came to over $385! When I got home I looked up the part online. The most expensive I could find was only $42!! I have experience in retail and understand and have no problem with a reasonab... read more
